Quality Operations Manager | QA Manager | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | GMP | South West England
Allerton Bishop is delighted to be partnering with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Quality Operations Manager for its manufacturing facility in South West England.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Manager, Quality Operations Manager, or Quality Assurance Leader looking to take ownership of manufacturing quality, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in driving GMP compliance and operational excellence.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Technical Operations and Regulatory Affairs, you will lead all Quality Operations, ensuring products are manufactured and released in full compliance with EU & UK GMP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop the Quality Operations team.
- Own manufacturing Quality Assurance, driving a world class quality culture.
- Lead batch review, certification and release activities.
- Ensure compliance with EU & UK GMP, pharmaceutical quality systems.
- As Site Quality Operations Manager, you will support customer audits, regulatory inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, Technical and Regulatory teams to support new products, validations and operational improvements.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree qualified in a scientific or engineering disciplines.
- Industry sector experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Previous quality management experience in 1st line management.
- Strong knowledge of EU & UK GMP and pharmaceutical quality systems.
