Senior Customer Service Representative
Location: Hemel HempsteadShifts: 08:00 – 17:00Pay Rate: £14.00–£14.95 per hour (temporary role)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries from first contact through to order fulfilment.
- Process orders, quotations, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent, quality support.
- Use ERP and CRM systems to track shipments, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow‑up.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and uphold the company core values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
- Participate in cross‑training and support activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, particularly within a multinational environment preferred.
- Government Body award or equivalent certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language proficiency highly valued.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) beneficial; training provided.
- Experience using CRM systems and customer service software preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Collaborative, positive attitude and exceptional teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in routine tasks.
- Professional judgment and diplomacy in handling customer interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to new processes and technologies.
