About the Role

As a Senior Naval Architect at TADEK, you’ll join our UK-based Naval Architecture team to lead high‑value engineering work across the offshore project lifecycle — from concept and FEED through detailed design, fabrication support, in‑operation integrity management and decommissioning. This role offers both technical leadership and the opportunity to contribute to TADEK’s growth as a senior resource, with scope for mentoring, innovation and client engagement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform hydrodynamic modelling and analysis of vessels and floating bodies
  • Design and analyse floating and fixed offshore structures including floating wind turbines and marine systems
  • Provide expert guidance in technology selection, concept development and costing for offshore systems
  • Drive innovation and ensure delivery of high‑value, practical client outcomes
  • Mentor, guide and develop the next generation of Naval Architects
  • Support business growth through client engagement and tender development (with the opportunity to share a stake in that growth)

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Master’s of Engineering/Science in Naval Architecture or Offshore Engineering
  • 8+ years of professional experience in Naval Architecture or offshore engineering (experience in a consulting environment is desirable)
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

Skills

  • Competence in hydrodynamic, mooring and stability analysis and structural assessments
  • Experience with OrcaFlex, AQWA or similar analysis tools
  • Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills
  • Chartered status or working toward chartership preferred (RINA, IMechE or other professional bodies)
