Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Production Planner to work with a well-established engineering company based near Kingswinford. As the Production Planner will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components.
Working hours for the Production Engineer:
Monday Friday 8am 4.30pm

Duties of the Production Engineer:
Process all new sales orders, ensuring routings selected
are most economical and fully compliant with customer requirements
Review specifications and drawings, providing technical
support and assistance to any departments within the business that require it
Create ITPs / MPSs based on customer requirements ensuring all technical and quality aspects are met
Work closely with production planning to ensure that best route is chosen to suit the businesses current capacity and capabilities
Dealing with customers regarding any queries of a technical nature where support is needed
Performing contract review of sales orders and routings
Deal with suppliers and procuring raw material / finished goods to meet customer demand
The successful candidate for the Production Planners position will have the following experience:
3 5 years experience working as a Production Engineer/Planner (Essential)
Looking into the best route of manufacture (Essential)
Experience working within a machining environment (Essential)
Working within a Fasteners environment (Desirable)
Working with ERP Systems (Essential)
