What The Role Is
As a Senior Solutions Architect (SA), you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our sales team, customers, partners, and community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical point of contact for Enterprise clients.
- Develop deep understanding of customers’ goals and articulate how our offerings address their needs.
- Create and own value‑based relationships at all levels.
- Participate in all phases of planning and execution for your territory, from discovery to technical win.
- Demonstrate the value of our products during sales meetings and events such as meetups and conferences.
- Advise sales team on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services.
- Onboard, educate, and enable partners and support them in sales cycles.
- Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with other Elasticians to meet client needs.
- Act as voice of the customer and community, communicating needs, gaps, and enhancements to engineering and leadership.
- Deepen sales and technical skills through self‑driven education and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of success in a technical presales role—selling, demonstrating, and implementing technology.
- Experience with at least one of: enterprise search, observability, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with cybersecurity or observability is a strong advantage.
- Experience working within the Enterprise sector.
- Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
- Passion for curiosity and continuous learning.
- History of successful customer relations and architectures that achieved goals.
- Influence: proven ability to influence teams on ideas, technology, or architectural patterns.
- Ability to inspire large and small groups.
- Willingness to travel 30% within a region and occasionally internationally.
- Fluent in English (business level).
