Overview

QA Automation Engineer – London / Remote

Established in the 1990s, our client is a fast-growing technology brand across Europe. They develop revolutionary software solutions and are recruiting an experienced QA Automation Engineer with significant experience writing end-to-end tests for web applications using Selenium, Cypress or preferably Playwright. The successful candidate will be responsible for building an end-to-end test suite for a major client migration project.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end test suites for web applications, focusing on a major client migration project.
• Write end-to-end tests using Selenium, Cypress or Playwright (Playwright preferred).
• Collaborate with development teams using TypeScript; strong Node/TypeScript testing experience is valuable.
• Contribute to test framework design and automation architecture; experience with GCP, CI/CD, GitHub, SaaS, PostgreSQL and MySQL is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in TypeScript and end-to-end testing for web applications; Playwright is preferred, Selenium or Cypress acceptable.
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end test frameworks and suites.
• Good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
