Job Description:

Harte Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected independent Estate Agency to appoint an experienced Property Manager into a well-established South Manchester property management team. This role has been created to support the smooth management of a defined residential portfolio during a planned transfer period.

Reporting to the Department Manager, you will work closely with a collaborative team based across Didsbury and Hale, with clear processes and strong central support in place. As Property Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of a portfolio of approximately 125 properties, with additional units transferring over time.

This is a stable, long-term Property Manager opportunity within a supportive, non-corporate environment, offering genuine scope to progress into more senior property management responsibilities as the department continues to grow.

The Package:

  • Up to £30,000 basic salary per annum (can go higher DOE)
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30 (often finishing earlier on Fridays)
  • Occasional Saturday cover during peak periods (June & November) – overtime paid
  • Mileage allowance provided;

  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays

The Role:

  • Rent collection and arrears management
  • Contractor liaison and works order management
  • Scheduling inspections and check-outs
  • Accurate administration, invoicing and record-keeping
  • Clear written communication with landlords, tenants and contractors

The Person:

  • Previous property management or lettings experience (essential)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing arrears, contractors and multiple workstreams
  • Strong written communication and professional email manner
  • Experience with Alto and Fixflo advantageous (training available)
  • Full UK driving licence and own car (essential)
