We are working with a highly regarded and well-established food manufacturing business based near Glasgow, currently looking to appoint a Production Manager to strengthen their leadership team. This opportunity has arisen due to continued growth and increased production demand across the site.

The Role
As Production Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading a shift-based production team, ensuring that output, quality, safety, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
You will play a key role in driving performance across the factory floor, developing team capability, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a team within a fast-paced production environment
- Deliver production targets across safety, quality, cost and service
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
- Monitor KPIs and take corrective action where required
- Manage labour planning and performance to meet operational demands
- Support and develop Supervisors and Team Leaders
About You
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Shift Supervisor
- Experience working in a low-care or similar production environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams
- Good understanding of food safety standards and operational compliance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
