Location: 83 Beaconsfield Villas, Brighton, BN1 6HF
Salary: £29,064 – £31,022 plus enhancements for weekends, nights, and bank holidays.

Brighton and Hove City Council is recruiting full‑time and part‑time Home Care Support Workers with experience in autism and challenging behaviour to work at Beaconsfield Villas.
We provide 24/7 support for six adults with learning disabilities in a homely environment. Our service was rated “good” by the CQC and families are very satisfied with the care we provide.
Responsibilities
- Support with intimate personal care where required.
- Keywork or take on additional responsibilities.
- Enable individuals to participate in a range of community activities such as swimming, bowling, shopping, etc.
- Help with cooking meals, general household cleaning tasks, laundry, etc.
- Assist with the administration of medication.
- Complete care records.
- Use various communication tools to help residents express themselves.
- Create and maintain relationships with family members, carers, and friends.
Qualifications
- Have a caring and flexible approach to work.
- Have compassion, integrity, and common sense.
- Have good written and number skills.
- Be able to work well as part of a team.
- Be able to work on your own initiative and think quickly in a difficult situation.
You will be required to work a shift pattern including early, late, sleep‑ins and some weekends. A full clean driving licence is preferable.

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro‑rata if the position is less than 37 hours or term‑time only.
