Class 2 Driver – Exeter EX2

Job Information

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver for our well‑established client working out of Exeter Depot EX2.

• Contract: Temp ongoing – Full‑time hours
• Location: Exeter, EX2
• Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour; Overtime on Saturdays/Sundays: £20.50
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Hours: Monday–Friday with overtime on Saturdays/Sundays available

Duties

• Tipping 1000‑ltr bins into an SCV
• Multi‑drop work with an average of 30 drops a day. The driver will have a set route each day and cover all of Devon, Cornwall, part of Dorset, and Somerset.
• Physically demanding work – the person needs to be fairly fit and able‑bodied.

Ideal Candidate

• A full clean driving licence, held for at least 1 year
• Understanding of the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace
• Effective time‑management skills and excellent customer service
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Ability to carry out all services in a professional and timely manner

Application Requirements

• Proof of right to work – Passport, online RTW check or birth certificate
• Proof of address dated in last 3 months – utility bill
• Proof of National Insurance – NI card, payslip or P60/P45
• Two years of referencing details (Blue Arrow will apply for these)
• DBS basic check required to work with this client
