Key Responsibilities
- Support children aged 4–11 years across the primary school phase.
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Provide support for pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
- Deliver targeted interventions to improve attainment and pupil progress.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support educational success.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and active participation in learning.
Requirements
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Strong understanding of classroom support and intervention delivery.
- A patient, caring, and nurturing approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, term time only.
