Engineering Manager

Location: Staveley/Hyde/Corby (regular travel across three UK sites)

About the role

This is a pivotal role where you’ll take ownership of the engineering strategy, delivering automation projects and improving plant performance across multiple sites. You’ll play a key part in transforming operations through LEAN methodology, data-driven decision-making, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

  • Leading and delivering a multi-year automation and digitalisation strategy
  • Driving engineering excellence, improving reliability, utilisation and OEE
  • Overseeing installation, commissioning and optimisation of equipment and layouts
  • Championing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives across all sites
  • Managing and developing a high-performing team of engineers
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards
  • Owning engineering budgets, capex planning and project delivery

About you

  • A degree/HND in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or similar)
  • Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in automation projects and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated success in improving plant performance and reliability
