Overview
Teacher role at Witherslack Group, located in the rural community of Alvescot, Sandwell, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Asperger’s, and social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be part of a well‑resourced environment that aims to facilitate learning and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching and support to pupils with diverse communication and learning needs.
- Create positive learning environments that promote resilience, self‑esteem and inclusive participation.
- Collaborate with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals to develop individualized learning plans.
- Maintain accurate pupil records, attend meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Relevant teaching experience with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
