Cover Supervisor – Secondary School | Crawley Area

Role Details

• Location: Crawley
• Position: Cover Supervisor – Mainstream Secondary
• Pay: £110 per day
• Hours: 8:30 – 3:30
• Start: September

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
• Ensuring students remain on task and engaged with set work
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Providing support to students where required
• Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting young people
• Previous experience presenting and communicating confidently to groups of people
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
• A passion for supporting students within education

Must Have

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Passion to support and empower children and young people
• DBS on the Updates Service or willingness to obtain one
• Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
