Job Description:

Administrative Assistant required for an immediate start with our client in Melksham, paying £13.00 per hour. This is a temporary holiday cover position providing administrative support to the Director and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and purchasing activities.

Pay Rate

  • £13.00 per hour

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties

  • Receiving, processing, and distributing incoming post, emails, and deliveries.
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ordering materials and liaising with suppliers regarding orders and deliveries.
  • Creating and processing purchase orders using Microsoft Word and Xero.
  • Producing delivery notes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing general administrative support to support the efficient running of the office.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word.
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
