We are now seeking ambitious graduates to join our team, offering a structured training contract and full support towards achieving a professional qualification (ACCA).
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Supporting audit assignments, including fieldwork and documentation
* Preparing basic tax computations and assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
* Carrying out bookkeeping tasks and preparing VAT returns
* Drafting working papers and maintaining accurate client records
* Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
* Using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage
* Supporting senior staff on a range of assignments and ad hoc projects
**Essential:**
* Degree (2:1 or above) in any discipline (accounting/finance desirable but not essential)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A motivated, proactive, and professional attitude
* Desire to pursue a career in accountancy practice
**Desirable:**
* Relevant placement year experience
* Familiarity with Excel and accounting software
* Full driving licence
