Continuous Improvement Engineer – Bristol (Hybrid) £55000 – £60000 + bonus and benefits

We’re working with a global engineering and manufacturing business seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across its UK site in Bristol.

This is a hands‑on role focused on embedding Lean and Six Sigma principles, delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You’ll lead improvement initiatives across the business – training teams, coaching stakeholders, and implementing standardised processes. Working cross‑functionally, you’ll facilitate problem‑solving sessions, drive root cause analysis, and ensure continuous improvement becomes part of the wider culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Lean Six Sigma training and mentor teams at all levels.
  • Lead CI projects to reduce waste and improve operational performance.
  • Define and maintain process standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis.
  • Track KPIs and report on improvement outcomes.
  • Engage with global CI forums and initiatives.

Experience required

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (minimum).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working in complex, fast‑paced environments.
  • Proactive, self‑starting approach with strong analytical capability.
  • Solid IT skills, particularly across MS Office.
