Role Description This is a part or full time remote contract role (via BD Consulting International Ltd) for a 1-3 PQE junior commercial solicitor (UK qualified) or senior commercial paralegal with at least 3 years relevant experience, for at least the next 2 years. The role involves supporting the MARSS Group GC with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, litigation, governance and compliance (including company reporting, export controls and GDPR), and contributing to the continuous improvement of legal templates and processes. There may be opportunities to travel in particular to France and the Middle East.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in commercial and corporate English law, with the ability to interpret and apply this in a dynamic and international commercial context.
  • Relevant legal qualifications as appropriate (e.g., a law degree and/or admission as a solicitor and/or paralegal qualifications).
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with standard office and document management software; experience with contract management tools is an advantage.
  • Prior internship or junior-level experience in a commercial law firm or in-house legal team is preferred.
