A supportive special school in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including autism and communication difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a highly supportive SEND environment where staff work closely together to help pupils achieve success.
The role
- Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom
- Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions
- Supporting communication and social development
- Working closely with teachers and SEN staff
Requirements
- Experience working with children or SEND pupils
- Enthusiastic and supportive attitude
- DBS on the Update Service
- Safeguarding training
