Based in the health-tech space, this company is looking for an experienced Freelance Paid Social Strategist to support their paid social marketing across the US and Canadian markets.

The Role

Utilising your strong social-first mindset, you’ll think strategically about messaging, audience personas, and creative direction to help drive performance across campaigns, developing paid social messaging strategies for the US and Canadian markets and shaping campaign narratives and copy that resonate with target audiences across different stages of the customer journey.

You’ll partner closely with performance marketing and creative teams to ensure messaging supports campaign objectives, review and refine messaging to optimise engagement and performance across paid social channels, create strategic messaging frameworks that align with key customer personas and brand pillars and provide a native US/Canada perspective on messaging, tone of voice, and cultural relevance.

The Person

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic marketing expertise with excellent copy and messaging instincts, and who can provide a native-level US/Canada understanding of consumer language, culture, market nuances, and perspective on how communications will resonate with local audiences.

We’re after proven experience as a Paid Social Strategist or similar strategic marketing role, strong social-first experience and demonstrated ability to build messaging around audience personas, customer insights, and brand positioning – plus a deep understanding of paid social platforms and audience behaviour and experience developing strategic campaign messaging, rather than just writing ad copy.
