We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator (bank) to join our Administration team at HM/ICR name.
About the Role
HMP Whatton is a busy male prison with a capacity for 850 inmates. The role supports the wider healthcare team with duties such as booking appointments, data input, dealing with referrals, processing post, handling health applications and other general admin duties.
Hours
Monday – Friday, 0900 – 1700. On bank you can work a maximum of 22.5 hours per week or 90 over a month.
Salary
£13.73 per hour.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services to the healthcare team on site
- Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call‑up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning

Candidate Requirements
- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills

- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
