Electrical Project Manager – Remote / UK Travel

Green Frog Connect is growing, and we’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-voltage electrical projects across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a business playing a direct role in the UK’s energy transition, delivering complex grid connections and power infrastructure projects up to 132kV.
About Green Frog Connect
Green Frog Connect is an Independent Connection Provider and EPC contractor specialising in power generation, battery energy storage, renewable energy and high-voltage grid connection projects.
We design and build electrical infrastructure for renewable developers, energy-from-waste plants, industrial and commercial clients, and EV charging providers. Our work supports the connection of low-carbon generation and energy storage projects to the UK electricity network.
The Role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple HV electrical projects from design and planning through to construction, commissioning and handover.
You’ll work closely with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, designers, site teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to make sure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high technical standard.
This is a remote-based role, with travel to project sites, client meetings and occasional visits to our office as required.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
Manage HV electrical projects from concept through to completion
Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities
Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, DNOs and internal teams
Monitor project programmes, costs, risks, quality and commercial performance
Ensure works are delivered safely and in line with relevant standards, specifications and regulatory requirements
Lead project meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders
Support problem-solving across technical, commercial and delivery challenges
Maintain strong client relationships and help ensure a positive customer experience
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience managing HV electrical projects, ideally within ICP, DNO, IDNO, renewables, battery storage, power generation or distribution environments
A strong understanding of HV electrical infrastructure, grid connections and associated design/construction processes
Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage clients, contractors and internal teams
Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage project risks and costs
A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
A full UK driving licence
A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial, but relevant project delivery experience is just as important.
