About The Role
We are looking for a Lean Manufacturing Excellence Manager who thrives on driving meaningful change and delivering measurable results. This pivotal leadership role within our Supply Chain Management organisation enables you to shape and lead the Lean agenda across manufacturing operations, acting as a catalyst for transformation and partnering with operational leaders to improve productivity, quality, flow, and cost performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Defining and deploying Lean strategy aligned to organisational goals, translating business priorities into impactful continuous improvement initiatives
- Leading cross‑functional programmes to enhance productivity, capacity, efficiency, and resilience
- Analyzing performance metrics (cycle time, throughput, OEE, lead times) to identify and remove bottlenecks across operations
- Championing Lean methodologies such as standard work, SMED, and value stream mapping, while coaching teams and leaders to embed Lean thinking
- Recruiting, developing, and inspiring a high‑performing team, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment
- Partnering with global and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with supply chain policies, regulations, and best practices
- Leveraging data analytics and digital tools to drive informed decision‑making and improve operational performance
- Advancing digitalisation within SCM, building capability in system architecture and aligning with global initiatives
- Promoting a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas, technologies, and ways of working
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and enabling clear, effective communication across the business
Essential Skills and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related discipline
- Significant experience in manufacturing or operations environments
- Demonstrated success in leading Lean transformation or continuous improvement programmes
- Experience facilitating workshops and leading cross‑functional teams
- Strong prioritisation and decision‑making skills in dynamic operational environments
Desirable Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI)
- Background in regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing technologies
