DEPOT MANAGER – CPC card required

*Depot Manager**Mitchell, Cornwall*At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a *Depot Manager *for our new site in Mitchell,Cornwall. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position will manage the Pallet Networks operation from our new Cornish depot, covering two pallet networks.*The position of Depot Manager involves:** You will have full P&L responsibility for the Depot reporting into the General Manager.* Oversee the resourcing, organising and managing the transport activities, including responsibility for all operational and legal compliance.* Leading and motivating a team of circa 25, including drivers and office staff.* Perform regular meetings with Transport Supervisors to ensure all areas of vehicle & driver legal compliance, Health and Safety and transport planning are monitored, reviewed and any actions required are in place.* Managing and being the key point of contact for all customers, developing and growing the business. Ensuring all opportunities to grow the future of the business are taken.* Set objectives and measure relevant financial and operational KPI’s to GeneralManager.* Ensure Budget constraints are met and assist in production of future Budgets.* Identifying peaks and troughs within the Business Area and identify areas of improvement.* Identifying any areas that are underperforming and put in place strategy plans for improvement.* Monitoring and auditing Health and Safety and compliance.* Producing statistics as required for customer meetings.* Conduct annual PDR interviews with direct reports.*Essential skills required for Depot Manager:** Must hold international or national CPC qua……
