Internal Sales Executive
Salary: £23,250 per annum + 2.5% commission on gross sales
This is an entry-level sales role with full training and support provided. It is well suited to someone looking to build a career in sales, with strong prospects for progression and salary advancement.
The role is based on a 35‑hour week.
Duties
- Research target prospects to understand their business requirements and needs
- Identify the most appropriate sales approach for each prospect
- Locate the key decision maker within target organisations
- Contact decision makers, present the client’s product offering and secure a positive next action
- Enter contact organisations into the CRM system with all relevant information
- Schedule follow‑up contacts and actions
- Prepare progress reports for the Sales Management team on contacts made
Experience required
- No prior sales experience required — full training will be provided
- Any background in a customer‑facing or communication‑focused role would be advantageous
Skills, knowledge and expertise required
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Numerate with strong attention to detail
- Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn
- Competitive drive and determination to succeed
- Ability to work effectively within a small, close‑knit team
