HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights

Overview

We are recruiting Class1 drivers for our Transport Team at a Booker Retail Partner site. Overtime opportunities are available and CPC training hours are fully funded.

Responsibilities

• Safe delivery of stock to independent retailers’ stores.
• Handle handball and manual work, which can be physically demanding.
• Work outside in adverse weather conditions and handball product at delivery points.

Requirements

• Class1 licence holder.
• Driver CPC holder.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience of multi-drop deliveries; temperature-controlled food deliveries preferred but not essential.
• Routes vary daily; need to be flexible in work and hours (including short notice).
• Must be over 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or involving warehouse, beer, wine, spirits, or driving roles.
