The service delivers a broad range of offers and Reablement is one part of this, the team also supports people with new technology. We are looking for people who want to help people of all ages remain at home and get their life back on track following episodes of illness or an event that has affected their life skills.

Your role in our journey

As a Reablement Support Worker, you will learn the skills and knowledge to support and help people to regain and, in some cases, learn new skills to live as independently as possible. You’ll help them to establish independence, gain confidence and develop social connections that will enable them to meet their aspirations. Our clients need support seven days a week including bank holidays. Our core service hours are from 7am to 10pm. We need people who can commit to this and recognise that we work in the community and on our own.

What you’ll need

  • The ability to engage with vulnerable people.
  • The ability to build collaborative working relationships with their personal support network, partner agencies and services.
  • Being flexible to fulfil the demands on service.
  • Service is borough‑wide; a driving licence and car is required.
