Overview
We are seeking two Quality Engineers to join the Hyde Aero Products Divisional Quality Department. The role involves working within a dynamic, cross‑functional team that drives quality management practices across the wider Hyde Aero Products Division.
Responsibilities
- Initiative‑taking quality‑based problem solving and utilizing KPI to drive improvements.
- Root cause and corrective action analysis for product and audit findings using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, RCCA, and 5‑Why Analysis.
- Manage non‑conforming product and quarantine controls.
- Support FAIR review and completion in accordance with AS9102 and Business Core Procedures.
- Support APQP/PPAP review and completion in accordance with AS9145 and Business Core Procedures.
- Review, organise, and verify documentation for completeness.
- Consult with suppliers and business units within the Hyde Group.
- Assist with divisional internal audits against the Integrated Management System and customer standards.
- Lead quality requirement reviews, ensuring compliance with customer quality requirements.
- Work closely with the Hyde Aero Projects Department as a quality specialist on NPI work packages.
- Support staff with ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilise divisional quality KPI to drive process improvements within wider business units.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑facing abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong teamwork ethic, proactive approach, and high motivation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel off‑site as required.
- Experience or awareness of environmental management systems (desirable).
- Auditing experience.
- UK driving licence.
- BPSS clearance mandatory, including DBS check and three‑year employment references.
