We are looking for a Junior localisation project manager to work in our Manchester office within the production team. This is an end to end project management role from initial quoting stages with the client through to final project delivery and everything in between. You will be enthusiastic, reliable, organised, and able to cope in a fast-paced and high pressured industry. The role requires a keen interest in working with voiceover artists, translators and subtitlers, and the ability to manage multiple projects from a client facing perspective through to vendor management. This is a full time, office-based role with the option to work from home 1 day per week after completion of your 6-month probation period.

The Company

The Voiceover Gallery is a well-established agency with over 20 years’ experience representing voiceovers for UK and foreign markets, as well as providing localisation services for a multitude of clients, including translation, transcreation and subtitling. The Voiceover Gallery has audio recording studios in both London and Manchester and works with voices and linguists all over the globe. The team have backgrounds in TV production, translation, radio and talent management. We work on an exciting variety of projects including Thomas & Friends, localising Dua Lipa’s podcast, and recording Freddie Flintoff’s audiobook plus much, much more.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· Managing human and AI voice over, translation, subtitling, transcription and video editing projects from quoting to invoicing

· Liaising with voice artists, translators, transcribers, subtitlers and video editors to ensure the smooth running of projects

· Negotiating with both clients and suppliers to ensure best rates and deadlines for projects

· Quality checking assets delivered by suppliers against project specifications to ensure that deliverables comply with requirements

· Assisting with studio enquiries and booking, as required

· Using booking software, subtitling software and other software packages, such as Microsoft Office programmes (training to be provided where necessary)

· Building strong relationships with suppliers and clients by maintaining regular, clear and friendly communication with them, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout each and every project

· Prioritising and managing multiple projects at once

Education and Experience

· BA in a language or translation-related field

· A masters in Audio-visual translation would be highly advantageous

· Open to graduates or experience in a project management or localisation role

· Knowledge of subtitling, translation or voice over an advantage

Salary

£24,000 – £28,000 per annum depending on experience
