Job Overview

Position: HGV DriverLocation: SittingbourneCompany: Staffline (recruiting for a logistics and distribution client)

Responsibilities

• Operate articulated heavy goods vehicles.
• Plan and follow assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections (walk‑around checks) before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring items are handled safely and correctly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Must hold a CPC licence and a valid tacho card, with accurate tachograph records.
