Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring exceptional customer service as part of a multi‑drop delivery route.
  • Transport all products safely to customers’ premises, treating freight as if it were the driver’s own.
  • Represent DX professionally at all times.
  • Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all legal and company requirements.
  • Perform all daily checks, report defects immediately and complete correct paperwork.
  • Ensure all products are scanned using DX scanning equipment.
  • Load deliveries safely before leaving the depot.
  • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times.
  • Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
  • Ensure correct equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good order and used at all times.
  • Report all delivery and on‑road issues to the traffic office immediately.
  • Ensure customers receive deliveries in excellent condition.
  • Deal with any customer issues politely and effectively.
  • Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times.

Qualifications

  • Hold a C1 or higher licence with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
  • Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
