Responsibilities
- Deliver customers’ products to the required premises ensuring exceptional customer service as part of a multi‑drop delivery route.
- Transport all products safely to customers’ premises, treating freight as if it were the driver’s own.
- Represent DX professionally at all times.
- Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with all legal and company requirements.
- Perform all daily checks, report defects immediately and complete correct paperwork.
- Ensure all products are scanned using DX scanning equipment.
- Load deliveries safely before leaving the depot.
- Observe DX procedures and policies at all times.
- Manage routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
- Ensure correct equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good order and used at all times.
- Report all delivery and on‑road issues to the traffic office immediately.
- Ensure customers receive deliveries in excellent condition.
- Deal with any customer issues politely and effectively.
- Ensure collections are made in line with given instructions and times.
Qualifications
- Hold a C1 or higher licence with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
