Employment Solicitor (2-5 PQE)Leeds | Hybrid Working£60,000-£70,000 DOEA dynamic employment law team is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its Leeds office. This is a varied and fast-paced role advising a broad range of clients on employment law matters, combining both advisory work and tribunal advocacy.You will handle a busy and diverse caseload, working across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with early client contact and real responsibility from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality employment law advice to clients in person, by telephone, and in writing
- Manage a tribunal caseload and conduct hearings, including preliminary hearings and CMDs
- Draft legal documents, conduct research, and provide practical, solution-focused advice
- Attend meetings and negotiations with clients and third parties
- Support business development activity, including training and networking
- Supervise and delegate work to trainees, paralegals, or support staff where appropriate
- Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years' PQE in employment law
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive, team-oriented, and committed to professional development
- £60,000-£70,000 salary (DOE)
- Hybrid working model with flexibility between office and home
