The role blends strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery, acting as a trusted adviser to lateral partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end integration of lateral partners across ROW jurisdictions, aligned to a global framework.
  • Develop and maintain the firm’s global integration playbook for ROW, ensuring consistency of standards, tools, and reporting while allowing regional tailoring.
  • Design and execute bespoke 24‑month integration plans aligned with individual partner business cases and firm strategy, including 0‑12 month milestones and early intervention points.
  • Act as the primary integration lead for senior or strategically significant ROW lateral hires.
  • Collaborate closely with the US Senior Manager to ensure consistency of standards, tools, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with HR and Recruitment on lateral partner onboarding and early‑stage operational readiness.
  • Work with Global Product Group, Sector Leads, Office Managing Partners, and regional leadership to advise lateral partners on client relationship transport, engagement strategy, cross‑selling opportunities, and internal navigation.
  • Support client engagement initiatives, pipeline development, early commercial traction, and partner with Communications on profile‑raising.
  • Facilitate formal and informal connections across practices, sectors, regions, and business professionals.
  • Ensure new hires receive cultural and operational support with appropriate connection points, sponsorship, and practical assistance.
  • Identify integration and retention risks early and work with HR/Talent and business leadership on mitigation and development pathways.
  • Provide direction and mentoring to junior integration team members and contribute to a high‑performing, globally consistent integration function.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in partner integration, lateral hiring, business development, talent strategy, talent development, HR, or related roles within a global professional services or law firm environment.
  • Proven ability to influence partners and senior stakeholders across regions and operate credibly in a complex matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated coaching capability, supporting, challenging, and accelerating the performance and integration of senior lateral partners.
  • Strong understanding of client development, partner economics, financial modelling, business case assessment, and profile building.
  • Strong market intelligence and benchmarking capability with sound commercial judgement.
  • Experience operating across cultures, jurisdictions, and time zones.
  • Highly credible, discreet, collaborative, and execution‑oriented approach.
