Overview
DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer responsible for managing complex infrastructure and deploying scalable, reliable systems in a cloud environment, focused on automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Must have
- Proven track record of managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Hands‑on experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design experience using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or HashiCorp Nomad.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience managing distributed systems, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Experience with security best practices, monitoring, and incident response.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Exposure to big data processing, ML pipelines, or simulation workflows.
Bonus
- Existing interest in data science and simulation workflows in the manufacturing, energy or chemical process industries.
- Experience with high‑performance computing (HPC).
What you will do
- Platform Operations (40%): Support the lifecycle of platform deployment, including provisioning, updating, monitoring, and scaling cloud infrastructure.
- Automation & Tooling (40%): Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and system monitoring solutions.
- Technical Leadership & Documentation (20%): Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, contribute to technical blog posts, and mentor junior engineers.
