Overview

Collections Officer – Hounslow

Casual, ad hoc role requiring high flexibility. Work is offered on an as-required basis, with shifts covering 12- or 24-hour standby periods. There are no guaranteed hours and this role should not be relied upon as a full-time or primary source of income.

Responsibilities

  • Visit client sites to conduct drug and alcohol testing on employees, supporting workplace safety and compliance.
  • Testing may take place in safety-critical environments such as factories, airports, manufacturing facilities, and similar settings.
  • Work is varied and involves independent, people-facing interactions.

Hours, standby and travel

  • You must provide three days per week that you are available to be on call, plus two weekends per month.
  • Allocation: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month on standby.
  • Standby schedule: weekly standby from 18:00 to 06:00; weekend standby from Friday 18:00 to Monday 06:00.
  • On standby days you may not have call outs or pre-booked visits; standby pay is £22 for the full day.
  • Travel tolerance: prepared to travel up to 50 miles within your team’s region.
  • FYI: In hours are 08:00–18:00 and out of hours are 18:00–08:00.

Compensation

  • Standby: £22 per 24-hour period
  • In-hours rate: £14.50 per hour
  • On-call rate during hours: £17 per hour
  • Out-of-hours prebooked visit: £18 per hour
  • Out-of-hours rate: £37.50 per hour

Requirements

  • Driving license and access to own vehicle
