What You’ll Be Doing
As Depot General Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Avonmouth operation, leading people, performance, and profitability. You’ll oversee the full depot lifecycle, from operational planning to delivering exceptional service standards, while collaborating with key stakeholders across the business. With full P&L accountability, you’ll drive efficiency, maintain compliance, and build a high‑performing culture that keeps Evri moving forward.
In addition to your team, you’ll be joining a team of 26 Logistics professionals who are responsible for managing our Depot network across the country.
Responsibilities of our Depot General Manager
- Lead and deliver depot operational, financial, and people performance
- Develop and execute budget plans and volume forecasts
- Drive operational excellence across warehouse, transport, and delivery networks
- Manage costs, resources, and productivity to optimise performance
- Ensure service excellence and act as escalation point for clients and stakeholders
- Maintain full compliance with H&S, transport regulations, and quality standards

- Full UK Driving Licence + CPC National Certificate
- Strong leadership experience in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational environment
- Proven ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and service delivery targets
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using Microsoft and MI systems
