We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join Baxter’s Oxford site as Production Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry, with full training provided.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00am – 3:00pm and 10:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).
As a Production Technician, You Will
- Work in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems
- Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products
- Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Carry out environmental monitoring activities
- Perform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process
- Accurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices
- Support various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation
Skills And Experience
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry
- Background in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
- Confidence using Windows-based computer systems
- Strong communication skills
