About the role
Our Accommodation and Alcohol Support Service focuses on supporting individuals affected by alcohol use to achieve stability, improve wellbeing, and sustain independent living. The service provides a safe and supportive environment where people can rebuild their lives at a pace that suits their individual needs. Our approach is person‑centred, trauma‑informed, and recovery‑focused. We work alongside individuals to reduce harm, promote healthier lifestyles, and develop the confidence and skills needed to maintain stable accommodation and improve overall quality of life. You will support individuals who may have experienced addiction, homelessness, or complex life circumstances.
The role involves working in partnership with each person to identify goals, build routines, and strengthen independence while ensuring they feel respected, valued, and supported. Support is flexible and tailored, ranging from practical assistance to emotional support and encouragement. The emphasis is on building trusting relationships and empowering individuals to take positive steps forward in their recovery journey.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to supporting individuals affected by alcohol use and complex needs. You will be confident working in a person‑centred environment, able to build positive relationships, and respond flexibly to changing circumstances. Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. An understanding of addiction, recovery approaches, and traumainformed practice would be beneficial. Above all, you will share our values and be motivated to support individuals to live safer, more independent, and fulfilling lives.
