Network Security Engineer (Assessment & Architecture Focus)nUp to £600 per day – Inside IR35n9 months contract – Fully Remoten

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to support the assessment, design, and improvement of network security controls. This role will focus on traffic analysis, vulnerability identification, and building bespoke security solutions aligned to enterprise risk exposure.

Starting from ground zero.

nKey Responsibilities:n

n
• Conduct detailed network traffic analysis to identify risks and vulnerabilities

n

• Assess current network security posture and recommend improvements

n

• Design and support implementation of network security controlsProvide independent assessment of security capabilities and gaps

n

• Support development of bespoke solutions based on organisational exposure

n

• Work across network architecture to ensure secure design principles

n

• Contribute to improving detection and response capabilities (e.g. deception techniques)

n

nKey Experience:n

n
• Strong background in network security engineering

n

• Experience with network traffic analysis and monitoring tools

n

• Solid understanding of network architecture and security principles

n

• Experience identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigations

n

• Ability to conduct independent security assessments

n

• Exposure to advanced detection techniques (e.g. deception, threat detection)

n

• Exposure to enterprise NetSec vendors – Palo Alto/ Zscaler/ Darktrace/ Forescout
