CCTV Operator

Job Overview

Mitie, the UK’s leading facilities management and professional services company, is growing our IKEA Security Operations Centre and is looking for people to join us on a permanent basis. Previous experience monitoring CCTV is required, along with a CCTV SIA licence. Excellent communication skills with a great telephone manner and computer knowledge are desired.

Responsibilities

• Report and present to the IRMC Manager and supervisors
• Use CCTV to identify criminal behaviour occurring in IKEA units
• Support IKEA co‑workers on the phone
• Input security and crime incident data into a central database
• Provide a high level of customer service to our client
• Engage with the MITIE loss prevention team

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritise daily workload
• Committed and motivated
• Experience working as part of a team
• Reliable, trustworthy and enthusiastic
• Valid SIA CCTV licence

Salary & Working Hours

£30,000 per annum, 42 hours per week, including weekend working. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off. Varied shifts Monday to Sunday, with working hours between 11am and 10pm (Monday to Saturday) and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
