Smile Education are recruiting on behalf of a “GOOD” school based in Penn, Wolverhampton, WV4. They are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can work with a clear focus on raising pupil attainment whilst embedding the curriculum.
Successful candidates will be able to: inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve; create an outstanding learning environment; tailor the curriculum and teaching strategies to best suit the needs of the children and school; be enthusiastic and committed to raising standards; work with parents to develop positive relationships and be fully engaged in whole school life.
Key responsibilities
- Leading classes by delivering lessons, demonstrating tasks, assigning tasks, and encouraging discussions.
- Deliver phonics and interventions where necessary.
- Prep and support the children’s development and learning ready for their SATS.
- Supervising students while they complete tasks independently.
- Setting homework or exercises for students to practice their skills after class.
- Developing and marking examinations to measure students’ progress.
- Assessing and reporting on students’ academic achievements and behaviour.
