Hours: Monday – Friday | 05:30 Start

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Flatbed Driver (C1) to join our client based in Tamworth. This 7.5 Tonne Flatbed Driver role offers ongoing work within the transport and logistics industry, delivering goods safely and efficiently across customer locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled 7.5 Tonne Flatbed Driver with load securing experience who is looking for stable weekday work within the transport and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5 tonne flatbed vehicle to customer locations
• Securing loads safely using ratchet straps
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly
• Maintaining a professional and safe approach at all times

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 6 months commercial C1 driving experience
• Previous flatbed driving experience
• Experience using ratchet straps to secure loads
• Valid UK Driving Licence with C1 entitlement
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations

Pay & Working Hours

• £14.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 05:30 start time
• Ongoing temporary assignment
