CNC MACHINISTS – CNC MILLERS & CNC TURNERS – Fife – Competitive Salary

Our client is a well‑established engineering company based in Fife, looking to add experienced CNC Machinists to their manufacturing team.

• CNC Miller – Setter/Operator
• CNC Turner – Sliding Head & Fixed Head

The successful candidates will be responsible for setting and operating a range of advanced multi‑axis CNC machinery to manufacture high‑precision components for a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC machining centres and turning machines.
• Producing precision‑engineered components to exact specifications.
• Working from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Conducting in‑process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop.

Machinery Includes

• DMG MORI multi‑axis CNC machining centres
• Matsuura CNC machining centres
• STAR sliding head lathes
• Fixed head CNC turning centres

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator or CNC Turner.
• Experience working with multi‑axis CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with sliding head and/or fixed head turning would be advantageous.

Desirable Skills

• CNC programming experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
• Experience working within a precision engineering environment.
