CNC Machinist

We are recruiting several skilled CNC Machinists to join a high precision engineering environment producing complex, low volume, high variety components. These positions sit within a modern, lean-driven machine shop operating multiaxis CNC machinery and industry leading controls.

These roles are ideal for experienced CNC Miller or CNC Mill Turn Setter Operators who enjoy technical work, multi-axis machining, and delivering exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling or mill/turn machines to required standards
• Machining components in varying batch sizes
• Conducting quality checks to ensure all work meets tolerance requirements
• Editing programs within capability
• Multi-machine manning to maximise spindle uptime
• Interpreting engineering drawings, CNC programs, and customer specifications
• Using measuring tools such as CMM, verniers & micrometers

Qualifications

We’re looking for anyone who:

• Has strong CNC milling or mill/turn setting & operating experience (5-axis advantageous)
• Can work accurately on high-precision components
• Is confident inspecting their own work
• Wants to join a forward-thinking engineering environment focused on quality and continuous improvement
