Come and join our team We are seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified, and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our large and supportive department on a full-time, temporary basis until 6 November 2026, starting on 1 September 2026. The successful candidate will possess the skills and experience required to deliver high‑quality, impactful teaching across the full ability range from Year 7 to Year 11, ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to thrive. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs. Our Mathematics Department is very successful, with a strong track record that inspires a large number of pupils to pursue the subject beyond GCSE. We are dedicated to providing challenging, engaging, and rewarding experiences for all pupils. As such, we are looking for an individual who brings a genuine passion for the subject and the ability to consistently motivate and challenge learners at all stages of their educational journey.
An Enhanced, Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this job. It is an offence to apply for the role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk.
Level 2 – You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
