We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic and motivated individuals experienced in Project Planning and Scheduling at the programme or portfolio level to join our growing Project Controls team.We have opportunities covering a range of technologies and experiences across the project Lifecycle, from development projects to full scale production, bid and campaign activities and supporting the development of Project Controls practices across international partnerships. All roles will be acting as an integral member of the Integrated Project Team to deliver project controls for the safe and successful delivery of the Integrated Project Teams strategy and projects.
Deliver
Project Controls on Projects through the application of consistent processes, methods, governance and provision of guidance to the wider IPT in line with Leonardo processesOwnership of the Project Schedules – drive and promote optimal schedule quality and best practice management techniques including application of schedule risk analysis at all stages of the project lifecycleApply resource scheduling techniques to optimise schedules, identify and resolve conflictsLead Project Controls for the establishment and management of schedule focused activities in the bid phase to ensure best practice is followed, risks managed, a schedule which identifies the costs and optimal resource profile is delivered and ensures schedules can transition to execution with minimal impact
Conduct what if analysis
- to drive decision taking and risk mitigation, making recommendations to the IPT as appropriate
Application of Schedule Risk Analysis techniques including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for project team on how to manage/mitigate

What you’ll bring
Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls/ Planning experience with experience in all aspects of planning, project controls andknowledge of project management methodologiesDemonstrated experience using techniques and procedures e.g. Earned Value, Work Breakdown Structure and Network PlanningProficient on SAP/Primavera Tool for planning and project management elements or similar planning toolBreadth of understanding in all parts of lifecycle and experience in the phases of initiation, planning and executionAbility to influence internal stakeholders, using data and analysis to support line of reasoningWorks independently, in compliance with all procedures and able to recognise appropriate escalation scenariosGood business knowledge to suggest and analyse what-if scenariosHolds APMG Project Controls Foundation and Practitioner Level Certification or meets the criteria to undertake this trainingThis is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
