oingAs Lending Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the operational delivery of the mortgage application journey, ensuring cases progress efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality and regulatory standa
rds.Your responsibilities will inc
- lude:Leading the day-to-day mortgage operations function (10+ reports) across the application lifec
- ycle.Managing workflow, capacity planning and pipeline performance to ensure excellent service le
- vels.Leading and developing a team of mortgage operations professionals, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improve
- ment.Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows and improve operational effici
- ency.Using MI and performance data to monitor KPIs and drive informed business decis
- ions.Managing operational escalations and ensuring timely resolution of complex c
- ases.Working closely with Risk, Compliance, Sales and Technology teams to implement operational improvem
- ents.Supporting business growth by building scalable, efficient and well-controlled operational proce
- sses.Ensuring customer outcomes remain at the heart of every decision while maintaining regulatory compli
ance.Abou
- t you:Extensive experience within mortgage operations in a regulated lending enviro
- nment.Strong knowledge of the residential mortgage application journey from submission through to compl
- etion.Experience leading and developing operational
- teams.A proven track record of delivering process improvement and operational transformation initia
- tives.An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and improve perfor
- mance.Excellent stakeholder management and communication s
- kills.A good understanding of FCA regulatory requirements and operational
- risk.Experience implementing technology, automation or AI-led improvements would be highly advanta
