We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep hands‑on experience building and maintaining modern cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical problems, improving automation, and owning production‑grade infrastructure end‑to‑end.
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and refine Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Containerize applications using Docker and support container‑based runtime environments.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and at least one additional programming language.
- Ensure strong observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud, network, and runtime issues across the stack.
- Implement security hardening, access controls, and cloud governance best practices.
As part of a small, focused, and talented team you’ll get the support to deliver high‑quality, reliable work & you’ll be trusted to suggest, investigate and deliver new ideas. You will also work on a hybrid basis from our office in Cambridge or Houston.
Qualifications
- 5‑10+ years of DevOps, cloud, or platform engineering experience.
- Proficient in at least one programming language.
- Deep experience with AWS services and cloud‑native architectures.
- Strong experience with Terraform.
- Solid hands‑on skills with Docker.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, security, and distributed systems.
- Terragrunt experience.
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Azure exposure or multi‑cloud familiarity.
- Experience with AWS ECS or other container orchestration systems.
- Experience supporting large‑scale cloud environments.
- Experience with the HP Wolf Security Cloud Service and its architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually.
