General Haulage HGV Class 1 (LGV1, Cat C+E) Double Deck Night Trunk Driver

• Location: Southampton
• Temporary contract with possibility of permanent
• Immediate start
• Night shifts start anytime from 17:00, 18:00, 21:00, or 22:00
• Pay rate: £18.00 to £26.00 per hour, weekly pay
• Flexible payment options
• 14 weeks, ongoing or ad‑hoc
• 24‑hour support service

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles for general haulage across the UK.
• Ensure all paperwork and electronic records are accurately completed and up to date.
• Maintain accurate records of breaks and working hours in line with Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
• Comply with all agency and client policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Take full responsibility for the quality of work carried out, always ensuring professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and operations teams to ensure smooth deliveries and collections.
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Experience driving Double Deck HGV1 vehicles
• Must hold a DP World Card
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card
