Senior Design Engineer

ARCA is supporting an innovative aerospace programme in Bristol looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the team on an initial 3-4 month contract.

This is a multidisciplinary design role focused on the development and integration of aircraft power distribution systems, working across electrical, electronic and mechanical design activities.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic concepts for Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
• Develop Charge PDUs and support aircraft integration activities
• Produce schematics, harness drawings and interface designs
• Support both mechanical and electrical design activities
• Design components using 3DEXPERIENCE / CATIA
• Create electrical BOMs and support requirements validation
• Support weight reduction and optimisation studies
• Harness drawings
